SIENA COLLEGE - ROSETTI HALL
20,000 square foot three-story academic building for the Education, Social Work & Sociology departments, including geothermal HVAC system, photovoltaic solar panels and full solid-state LED lighting. The building features classrooms complete with the latest in teaching technology, offices, seminar rooms, meeting rooms and collaborative learning spaces throughout. It will also have computer labs, a video editing suite and the Center for Urban Education.
Engineered solutions obtained a NYSERDA grant for the project that covered the additional cost for upgrade from fluorescent to LED lighting. Engineered solutions also worked with the RPI lighting research center to produce a “Delta” portfolio report on the lighting in the building and provided an accompanying report that compared the lighting usage in Rosetti hall compared to another teaching building on the campus
